Yemeni Army: 1,087 military operations carried out against Houthi militia

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Friday that they carried out 1,087 targeting operations against positions and movements of the Houthi militia over the past hours, as part of Operation “Fajr al-Yemen.”

In a statement, Colonel Majid al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said the operations neutralized approximately 336 militia leaders and fighters, and destroyed or damaged 112 vehicles, armored vehicles, equipment, supply means, and heavy weapons.

He noted that the operations on the fronts of Al-Jawf, Ma’rib, Al-Bayda’, and the southern and southwestern fronts coincided with surveillance and reconnaissance activities and concentrated fire strikes, which contributed to thwarting infiltration attempts, disrupting the movement of reserves, and limiting the transfer of reinforcements between axes.
