The Kuwait International Exhibition for Land, Sea, and Outdoor and Sports Equipment has launched, with the participation and attendance of ambassadors and economic and business leaders. The first day of the exhibition saw strong attendance, reflecting Kuwaiti consumers’ interest in following opportunities and taking advantage of the offers presented at trade shows.

Al-Wahidi added that exhibitions significantly boost domestic tourism, noting that the event is important because it brings together local and international companies specializing in land and sea products under one roof, making it easier for those seeking such products. He noted that participation has grown this year, reaching 100 companies, with new categories added, including firms specializing in safari vehicle equipment, as well as companies offering boat and trip preparation services, along with other supporting sectors catering to enthusiasts in this field.

He emphasized that the diversity seen at the exhibition stems from their commitment to providing most of what adventure and travel enthusiasts desire, ensuring all their needs are met. They also plan to expand participation in the future. He expressed his satisfaction with the strong turnout of diplomats, business leaders, and entrepreneurs at the opening ceremony.

For his part, CEO Abdul Fattah Al-Sumairi explained that the exhibition is committed to continuous development and modernization, aiming to diversify the activities and sectors available while staying true to the core focus of the event since its first edition: marine and land equipment, fishing gear, and entertainment and adventure sectors. He noted that the exhibition aligns with broader efforts to stimulate the tourism market and meet consumer demands in the adventure and entertainment fields.

Al-Sumairi pointed out that supporting marketing activities in Kuwait advances the goal of boosting tourism and leisure in the country. He added that current developments in domestic tourism require more activities to support the recreational, shopping, and tourism sectors, including by providing opportunities for recreational, sports, and tourism-related events such as specialized and marketing exhibitions.
