Ooredoo Kuwait has renewed its strategic partnership with Al-Jarida newspaper to organize the fifth edition of the MoneyTech 2026 summit, scheduled for Sunday at the St. Regis Kuwait hotel.
Marking the occasion, Nouf Al-Mashaan, Executive Director of Strategy and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo Kuwait, said: “We at Ooredoo Kuwait are proud to renew our strategic partnership with Al-Jarida for the second consecutive year to organize the summit, driven by our belief in the importance of such platforms in bringing together insights, expertise, and decision-makers regarding the opportunities that shape the future of the economy and technology in Kuwait and the region. The continuity of our partnership reflects our commitment to supporting every national initiative that enriches economic dialogue, opens the door to building new partnerships, and helps transform future ideas and trends into real-value opportunities and projects. Specialized conferences play a pivotal role in bridging perspectives, connecting decision-makers with investors and experts, and creating an enabling environment for initiatives that support growth and development.”
Al-Mashaan added: “We are currently living in a period of unprecedented technological acceleration, and the ability to keep pace with these transformations and invest in them has become a key factor in determining the future of economies and enhancing their competitiveness. From this perspective, Ooredoo Kuwait is leading the technological transformation journey by investing in advanced digital infrastructure, developing its capabilities and services, and building strategic partnerships that enable various sectors to leverage modern technologies and apply them to business development.”
She clarified that “our role at Ooredoo Kuwait extends to actively contributing to building an integrated digital ecosystem that allows institutions, companies, and entrepreneurs to access the capabilities they need for growth and innovation. We believe that investing in advanced networks, data centers, artificial intelligence, and digital solutions forms the foundation for a more diversified economy capable of attracting investments and creating new opportunities for future generations.”
Al-Mashaan emphasized that the relationship between technology and the economy has become more interconnected than ever, noting that digital development contributes to improving business efficiency, enhancing service quality, and enabling companies to develop new business models, alongside strengthening markets’ ability to attract high-quality projects and investments. She pointed out that the digital economy represents a real opportunity for Kuwait to enhance its competitiveness and build new knowledge- and innovation-based sectors. Kuwait possesses important foundations that qualify it to confidently advance in this direction, through its national workforce, institutions, and ability to build partnerships that combine local expertise with the best global experiences to export technology.
She added: “At Ooredoo Kuwait, we strive to be a key partner in this journey, leveraging our expertise and technological investments to support various institutions and sectors, enabling them to grow, expand, and compete. We look forward to Kuwait being at the forefront of countries benefiting from digital transformations to develop its economy and enhance its standing at both the regional and global levels.”
Al-Mashaan noted that supporting the MoneyTech summit aligns with Ooredoo Kuwait’s direction to contribute to achieving the goals of “Kuwait 2035,” which include aspirations to build a diversified and sustainable economy, strengthen the role of the private sector, develop infrastructure, and support innovation and investment in national talent.
She emphasized that realizing Kuwait’s vision requires coordinated efforts and complementary roles among various stakeholders, as well as the establishment of platforms that bring partners together to discuss priorities, explore opportunities, and build productive relationships. In this context, specialized conferences play a crucial role in accelerating and enabling the vision by linking national aspirations with expertise, investments, and initiatives capable of delivering tangible impact.
She added, “We believe that the private sector is a key partner in this journey, and its responsibility extends beyond investing in its own business to contributing to the building of a more diversified and sustainable economic future. At Ooredoo Kuwait, we are committed to fulfilling this role through our investments, partnerships, and initiatives that support digital transformation, foster an innovation-friendly environment, and create new opportunities for national talent and Kuwaiti youth.”
Concluding her statement, Al-Mashaan said, “We take pride in our partnership with Al-Jarida, and we appreciate its role in organizing this summit and bringing together a select group of leaders and experts to discuss issues that shape the future of the economy and business. We look forward to this year’s edition contributing to strengthening dialogue, opening new avenues for cooperation, and generating ideas and partnerships that support Kuwait’s development and digital transformation journey.
