The Governor of the Capital, Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, emphasized the importance of continuing on-the-ground follow-up of health institutions, assessing their needs, and monitoring the level of services they provide. He stressed that supporting the health sector is a key priority within the governorate’s agenda, as it constitutes a fundamental pillar of quality of life.
This came during the Governor of the Capital’s inspection visit to the Mohammed Al-Dukhain Eye Center in the Shamiya area, attended by the center’s director, Dr. Hanan Ibrahim Al-Saleh. The visit aimed to review ongoing operations, assess the nature of the health and specialized services provided by the center, and enhance the operational framework to align with the health needs of residents in the governorate’s districts.
The Governor commended the efforts of the Ministry of Health in developing Kuwait’s health system, and praised the work of the staff at the Al-Dukhain Eye Center, including doctors, consultants, nursing staff, and technical personnel.
