Chelsea Optimistic About Signing Scott

English football club Chelsea is growing more optimistic about the possibility of signing Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott during the January winter transfer window, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

The London club continues its talks with Bournemouth regarding a potential mid-season deal, having already attempted to sign the player during last summer’s transfer window.

Liverpool remains interested in signing Scott, but its desire to complete the deal in the winter appears to have diminished.

Scott has rejected several offers to extend his contract with Bournemouth and is believed to want to leave the club.

However, Bournemouth is unlikely to let him go easily, demanding a fee of up to 120 million euros to release him from his contract.
