Digital 'Dira' Platform... Launch of the First Phase

The Public Authority for Agriculture and Fisheries Resources announced the launch of the “Dira” digital platform, under the patronage and presence of the Director General of the General Authority for Agriculture, Al-Masbahee, on Wednesday morning, in its first phase, to receive applications from citizens and residents and to utilize the Authority’s services. This step aims to enhance digital transformation and improve the efficiency of services provided to beneficiaries.

The Authority clarified that the platform’s inauguration ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Authority’s theater in the Rabia area. It noted that the “Dira” platform represents a new step toward unifying electronic services within an integrated digital system that facilitates procedures and enhances the beneficiaries’ experience.

It added that the launch of the first phase is part of the Authority’s digital transformation strategy and the development of service delivery mechanisms, contributing to the creation of an integrated digital database, improving operational efficiency, and accelerating the processing of transactions, in line with development and sustainability plans.

The Authority pointed out that the platform will undergo successive development phases aimed at gradually expanding digital services to include various services related to animal, plant, and fisheries resources, within an integrated vision that consolidates the Authority’s services on a single platform, thereby facilitating beneficiaries’ access to them.

The Authority emphasized that this step is part of its ongoing efforts to modernize the work system and leverage digital technologies to develop government services, enhance institutional performance efficiency, and keep pace with development requirements and technological advancements.
