Liverpool face a heated clash against visiting Chelsea tomorrow, Wednesday, in the fourth round of the English Professional Football League Cup.
The Reds enter the match in good form, having won four consecutive games across all competitions, most recently beating Brighton 2-0, their first Premier League victory at Anfield this season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea seek to regain their balance after a surprising home defeat to local rivals Tottenham 2-0 in the league.
In another match, Manchester City enter the fixture with fluctuating morale following their recent 2-1 league loss to hosts Aston Villa, their first defeat in all competitions this season.
In the final round of the eighth stage of the French League, defending champions Paris Saint-Germain topped the table for the first time this season with a 2-0 away victory over Lyon.
