However, the ability to modify or cancel will cease two days before the end of the registration period, requiring applicants to review their data and ensure their applications are complete before the specified deadline.
The Ministry emphasized that the approved dispatch plans allow employees to complete their bachelor’s studies through multiple pathways, including funded scholarships and unfunded study leaves, whether within Kuwait or abroad, in accordance with general conditions and the provisions of the Scholarships and Study Leaves Regulations, as well as the specific conditions for each plan, available specializations, and regulations approved by the educational institutions.
Regarding the dispatch plan designated for persons with disabilities, the Ministry of Education clarified that it allows applications for scholarships to complete a bachelor’s degree for the academic year 2026/2027. Applicants with disabilities are exempt from the service and specialization requirements, while adhering to the provisions of the Scholarships and Study Leaves Regulations. A recent certificate issued by the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities must be submitted as part of the application requirements for this plan.
The Ministry added that the study leave plan for obtaining a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kuwait requires, in addition to general conditions and regulatory provisions, that the applicant holds a secondary school certificate or its equivalent, issued no more than two years prior.
It was noted that applications will be cancelled if the desired specialization is unavailable or if the applicant does not meet the admission and registration conditions of the university.
The Ministry also clarified that the study leave plan for obtaining a bachelor’s degree from the College of Basic Education, affiliated with the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, includes specializations in Mathematics, English Language, Arabic Language, and Music Education.
The Ministry of Education stated that applying for the study leave plan at the College of Basic Education requires a secondary school certificate or its equivalent, with a minimum percentage of 70% for recent certificates and 80% for older certificates for males. For females, the requirement is a minimum of 75% for recent certificates and 80% for older certificates.
The ministry confirmed that the determination of minimum admission thresholds and higher ratios is linked to the seats approved by the college, as well as any new circulars issued by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at the Authority. It noted that applications will be canceled if the desired major is unavailable or if admission and registration requirements are not met.
Regarding fully funded scholarships for undergraduate studies either outside Kuwait or at private universities within the country, the ministry stated that available majors include Mathematics, Physics, Geology, Biology, English Language, Arabic Language, Philosophy, Music Education, Accounting, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Information Systems.
It clarified that the plan is subject to general conditions and the provisions of the Scholarships and Study Leave Regulations, in addition to the requirements of the study institution. Applications will be canceled if the major is unavailable or if admission and registration conditions are not fulfilled.
The ministry revealed the availability of a plan for unfunded study leaves to complete a bachelor’s degree either outside Kuwait or at private universities within the country, covering the same majors: Mathematics, Physics, Geology, Biology, English Language, Arabic Language, Philosophy, Music Education, Accounting, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Information Systems. This plan requires adherence to general conditions and the provisions of the regulations, fulfillment of admission and registration requirements at the study institution, and cancellation of the application if the major is unavailable or if the required conditions are not met.
The Ministry of Education concluded by emphasizing its commitment to facilitating application procedures and providing necessary support to employees wishing to continue their studies. It explained that individuals seeking clarification or experiencing technical issues during registration may visit the General Directorate of Development and Development in person during the registration period, located in Jabriya, Plot 2, Street 105, opposite Fahad Al-Duwairi Secondary School.
