The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, met today at his residence with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, ahead of the eighth summit of heads of state and government of member countries of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), to be held at the World Trade Center in Moscow.
The Qatari Diwan Al-Amiri stated that the meeting reviewed developments in the regional situation, including the latest updates on negotiations, the Strait of Hormuz, energy supplies, as well as topics on the summit’s agenda.
Attending the meeting were Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Head of the Diwan Al-Amiri Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and several members of the official delegation accompanying the Emir.
