Trade Ministry: Raid on Salmiya Warehouse Altering Origin of Water Pumps

A joint campaign by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and several government entities resulted in the raid of a warehouse in the Salmiya area that was altering the country of origin of water pumps.

The ministry announced via its X account that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and representatives of relevant government bodies—including the Ministry of Interior (represented by the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation), the General Fire Force, Kuwait Municipality, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition—a warehouse in Salmiya was seized for changing the country of origin of water pumps. All necessary legal measures were taken against the violator, through coordination among the competent authorities, each within its respective jurisdiction.
