Voting in the Israeli Knesset elections began this morning (Tuesday), as approximately 7.3 million eligible voters head to around 12,000 polling stations to elect the 120 members of the 26th Knesset.
The competition centers on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is seeking to retain his position, and former Israeli Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot, who leads the Yachad party and aims to form a coalition capable of ending Netanyahu’s rule.
