In line with strengthening international humanitarian partnerships and expanding the scope of its response to global health challenges, the Kuwait Charity Development Association announced the signing of a joint cooperation protocol with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), backed by a financial contribution of $30,000 USD, to combat the Ebola virus, provide necessary protection for children, and mitigate the impacts of this dangerous virus.
This strategic collaboration builds upon the ongoing and successful partnership between the Kuwait Charity Development Association and UNICEF. This is not the first such cooperation; the Association previously demonstrated significant humanitarian involvement in April 2026 by providing life-saving solutions for infants in the Gaza Strip. This new initiative marks the second milestone, reaffirming the Association’s steadfast commitment to supporting childhood and responding promptly to health and humanitarian crises worldwide.
Dr. Nasser Al-Ajmi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Charity Development Association, stated that the support aims to implement urgent preventive and therapeutic programs, provide medical and preventive supplies, and raise community and health awareness to protect children, girls, and the most vulnerable families in affected areas.
Al-Ajmi added that the Association remains committed to fulfilling its global humanitarian mission, fostering cooperation with major international organizations such as UNICEF, to alleviate the suffering of the vulnerable and safeguard children’s rights to life and growth in a healthy and safe environment.
