The Kuwait Municipality announced on Saturday the intensification of its supervisory role through field inspection campaigns across all governorates in the country on multiple fronts.
It added that teams will take necessary measures against non-compliant contractors, while also inspecting grilling sites under various types of permits to ensure compliance with their conditions. The supervisory teams are ramping up their oversight of road occupations by removing boats from squares, public squares, and parking areas in service, craft, industrial, and commercial investment zones.
It noted that violators of the road occupation regulations will be required to park their boats in designated and permitted areas. In addition, general cleanliness teams will monitor sanitation levels in high-density areas to curb violations of the cleanliness regulations.
It stated that municipal service audit and follow-up teams will continue their supervisory work by monitoring public markets, including wholesale and retail markets, as well as inspecting health licenses for establishments of all types of activities.
It praised the effective supervisory role of national cadres of engineers, who conduct engineering audits and follow-ups on construction and building works by enforcing the building regulations according to their various applications, whether for private residential, model, service, investment, commercial, industrial, or craft uses.
