UAE Honors Kuwait Embassy with Award for Outstanding Diplomatic Mission

The United Arab Emirates honored the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Abu Dhabi by awarding it the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs Award for the Distinguished Diplomatic Mission in the country, in recognition of its efforts to support bilateral relations and enhance cooperation and coordination between the two nations.

The award was presented during a ceremony hosted by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who handed the award to Kuwait’s Ambassador to the UAE, Jamal Al-Ghanim, in the presence of several ministers, ambassadors, and senior ministry officials.

Speaking to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Ambassador Al-Ghanim stated that this honor reflects the appreciation for Kuwait’s diplomatic efforts and serves as an incentive for the embassy and its staff to continue working to strengthen bilateral ties between the two fraternal countries.

He expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and all ministers and officials at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this recognition, reaffirming the embassy’s commitment to continued serious and fruitful cooperation with the ministry to advance bilateral relations to broader horizons that meet the aspirations of the peoples of both countries.

He added that the embassy will continue to work on enhancing the presence of the State of Kuwait and its interests, highlighting its approach based on cooperation, openness, trust-building, and the consolidation of dialogue and mutual understanding, thereby contributing to expanding the scope of partnership and achieving shared interests between the two countries.

Ambassador Al-Ghanim emphasized that the directives of Kuwait’s political leadership underscore these principles and are keen to establish them as a working framework for Kuwaiti diplomacy.
