Narcotics Control: Arrest of 4 suspects in 3 separate cases with drugs and psychoactive substances in their possession

The Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday the arrest of four suspects in three cases, with drugs and psychoactive substances in their possession intended for trafficking and personal use. In a press statement, the ministry said that the Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics, succeeded in apprehending the suspects in the Farwaniya, Riqqa, and Adh Dhahr areas, as part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and apprehend those involved. The seized items included marijuana, methamphetamine (shabu), Lyrica capsules, A4-sized sheets soaked in chemical liquid, and sensitive scales. The ministry confirmed that appropriate measures have been taken against the suspects, and that they and the seized items have been referred to the competent authorities.
