Kuwait condemns Houthi attack on King Fahd Airport in Dammam: A blatant violation of Saudi sovereignty

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the blatant attack launched by the Houthi militia on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, in the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the deaths of two people and injured others, in a flagrant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a brazen breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

The Ministry emphasized that the continued targeting of civilian airports and vital facilities constitutes a serious escalation and a direct threat to the lives of civilians and the safety of air navigation, necessitating a firm international stance to halt these attacks and hold those responsible accountable.

The Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its full support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its security and stability and safeguard its sovereignty, stressing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
