Data from the Public Authority for Manpower showed that 8,849 cases were suspended for failure to meet salary obligations as of June 2026, representing 18.3 percent of the total 48,408 cases registered for companies employing five or more workers.

This came during the second meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, titled “The Salary Fulfillment System: Protecting the Workforce, a More Compliant Market,” attended by company owners, where the Authority presented the system’s indicators and the levels of companies’ compliance in paying workers’ salaries.

The data indicated that the salary fulfillment rate rose to 75.6 percent in July 2026, an increase of 36.9 percentage points compared to 38.7 percent in the same month of 2025.

It added that the number of applications submitted by companies through the Salary Fulfillment System reached 93,865 applications between January and September 2026, a growth of 195.6 percent compared to 31,757 applications in the same period last year.

The number of approved applications reached 93,852, reflecting the development of application processing efficiency and enhanced monitoring of companies’ compliance with salary fulfillment, which contributes to protecting workers’ rights and raising the level of discipline in the labor market.

Meanwhile, data from the Public Authority for Manpower revealed the receipt of 389 complaints through the “Blaghi” electronic service, with 201 of them responded to, representing 51.7 percent of the total complaints submitted.

The data clarified that complaints related to salary payments amounted to 40, representing 10.3 percent of the total complaints, meaning approximately one out of every 10 complaints concerned salary payments.

The “Blaghi” electronic service enables receiving complaints and following up on responses, thereby enhancing communication channels with the Authority and contributing to identifying labor issues, particularly those related to delayed salary payments.
