The organizing committee of the Saudi Super Cup in Kuwait, represented by the “Al-Rai Media Group” and “Aayan Leasing and Investment Company” alliance, has selected “Webook” (webook.com) as the official partner for selling tournament tickets through its app and website. This move is part of the organizational and operational preparations for the event, which Kuwait will host from December 19 to 23 next year at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, featuring Al-Nassr, Al-Khaleej, Al-Ahli, and Al-Qadsiah clubs.

This comes in the context of Kuwait’s first hosting of the Saudi Super Cup, following the signing of a formal partnership agreement for the hosting by the “Al-Rai - Aayan” alliance with the Saudi Football Federation, represented by its exclusive commercial partner “SMC Vibes.”

Under the agreement, tournament match tickets will be available through “Webook,” enabling fans to purchase and manage their tickets digitally, from seat selection to securely transferring tickets and reselling eligible ones through official channels in accordance with the approved conditions for each event. The platform also provides the public with a reliable alternative to purchasing from unofficial platforms or accounts.

Khaled Salah Al-Sayer, Director of the Saudi Super Cup – Kuwait Edition, emphasized that the selection of “Webook” reflects the organizing committee’s commitment to partnering with platforms that possess technical and operational expertise in managing major events, and to delivering a fully integrated digital experience for fans from ticket purchase to entering Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.

Al-Sayer stated that the choice of “Webook” is not limited to ticket sales, but extends to a comprehensive system that facilitates and secures the fan experience, offering digital solutions that help regulate ticket trading and curb the black market.

He noted that the entry of a platform of this scale into the Kuwaiti market through the Saudi Super Cup reflects the value of the tournament and provides the public with the opportunity to experience an advanced digital solution that has proven its presence at several major events.

“Webook” taking over ticket sales for the tournament, given its wide fan following in the Gulf, marks a new milestone in its regional expansion.

In this regard, Nadeem Bakhsh, CEO and Co-founder of “Webook,” said: “The fan at a match of the size of the Saudi Super Cup wants, above all, to be assured that their ticket is official and their seat is reserved. This is what we work on at every high-demand event we manage, and this is what we are offering today to the Kuwaiti public.”

He added: “We look forward to this tournament being the beginning of an extended relationship with our partners and our audience in Kuwait, encompassing other sports and entertainment events.”
