Yad Al-Kuwait and Burqan Face Kazma and Salwa... Tomorrow

Al-Salmiya will face Al-Burqan at 5:00 PM tomorrow, Tuesday, while league leaders and defending champions Al-Kuwait will take on Kazma at 6:30 PM at the Saud Abdullah Al-Salem Complex, as part of the 18th round of the Premier Handball League, continuing the 2025-2026 season.

In the first match, fifth-placed Al-Salmiya (6 points from 12 matches) aim to regain their footing after a 24-23 defeat to Al-Arabi, which followed their valuable 31-25 victory over Kazma. Meanwhile, third-placed Al-Burqan (15 points from 11 matches) hope to secure their second consecutive win after resuming the league with a 30-13 victory over Al-Nasr, in an effort to reclaim second place from Al-Ahli (Al-Akhder).

In the second match, top-ranked Al-Kuwait (19 points from 11 matches) look to secure their tenth win and strengthen their grip on the summit, while fourth-placed Kazma (14 points from 12 matches) aim to inflict a second defeat on their rival this season, despite the difficulty of the task, and make up for their recent loss.

Separately, Al-Ahli (Al-Abyad) will face Qatar’s Al-Rayyan on November 21 in the opening match of Group 2 of the Gulf Club Champions Championship, hosted by Bahrain. Their second match will be against Bahrain’s Al-Ahli on November 23, and they will conclude the group stage against Oman’s Al-Seeb on November 25.
