Ministry of Commerce: 48 Violations During Inspection Campaign in Sabah Al-Salem Area

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Security Directorate of Al-Mubarakiya Governorate, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, and the Public Authority for Manpower, conducted an inspection campaign in the Sabah Al-Salem area, resulting in the issuance of 48 seizure reports for various violations.

The ministry, via its account on the “X” platform, stated that the campaign, organized by the emergency team of the Ahmadi and Al-Mubarakiya governorates, aimed to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations governing markets, protect consumers’ rights, combat commercial fraud, verify adherence to published prices, and confirm the clarity of information related to food safety.

It added that the campaign is part of efforts to strengthen market oversight and supervision, enhance the quality of goods and services, and thereby contribute to protecting consumers and promoting market stability.
