At the outset of the meeting, the Minister of Defense conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the Head of State, who in turn tasked him with conveying his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince.
The meeting also reviewed regional developments affecting the area, with both sides exchanging views on these issues to help consolidate security and stability and achieve lasting peace in the region.
Attending the meeting were Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister; Sheikh Thani bin Zayed, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad, Advisor to the Head of State; and a number of ministers and officials.
