Fahad Al-Ghanim: 'Saudi Super Cup' is a Global Tournament... We Are Proud to Host It in Kuwait

Fahad Ali Al-Ghanim, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at Aayan Leasing and Investment Company, affirmed that the significant development witnessed by Saudi football in recent years, and its rise to a prominent position in international rankings, has elevated the status of the Saudi Super Cup as a major sporting event. He expressed his pride in Kuwait hosting the tournament.

Speaking to the press on the sidelines of the draw ceremony, Al-Ghanim stated, “The Saudi Super Cup has become a tournament of global value and stature, and we are proud in Kuwait to host it. We look forward to the tournament’s success on both sporting and fan engagement levels.” He wished luck to the four participating clubs and noted that the draw results would add further momentum and fan appeal to the competitions.

He emphasized the special nature of hosting the tournament in Kuwait, stressing that the relationship between the two countries transcends the venue of the event. He added, “Since the formation of the alliance between Aayan and Al-Rai to host the tournament, our primary guiding principle has been that this is a Kuwaiti-Saudi event. We see no difference between hosting it on Saudi soil or on Kuwaiti soil; we and Saudi Arabia are one, and certainty is certain.”
