The Institute for Women’s Development and Peace and the Arab Women Network expressed their strong condemnation and outrage at the brazen attacks targeting the security and stability of the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the brotherly states of the Arab Gulf, which constitute a blatant violation of all international laws and norms and pose a direct threat to regional and international peace and security.
In a joint press statement issued by the Institute and the Network, Advocate Kawsar Al-Jouan, President of the Institute for Women’s Development and Peace and President of the Arab Women Network, strongly condemned these terrorist acts, attacks, and desperate attempts targeting vital facilities and civilian assets, noting that such attacks undermine the security of the entire Gulf system.
Al-Jouan expressed absolute and unconditional solidarity with the Kingdom and all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states in all measures they take to protect their security, integrity, and the safety of their citizens and residents on their territories.
She emphasized that, at this critical juncture, the GCC must activate joint defensive security cooperation and continuous coordination mechanisms to monitor and counter threats, thereby reinforcing the principle of collective security.
She called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in condemning these attacks to halt escalation and ensure the stability of the region, which serves as a vital artery for the global economy.
