Al-Tijariya organizes 'Ishraqa Amal 2' to empower and integrate people with disabilities

In line with its firm commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to supporting talents and empowering persons with disabilities by providing them with opportunities to express their talents and creativity, Al-Tijariya Real Estate Company is organizing the second edition of the “Ishraqat Amal” (Rays of Hope) art exhibition. The event will be held under the patronage of Sheikhah Sheikha Al-Sabah, Honorary President of the Kuwait Sports Club for Persons with Disabilities, at the Symphony Complex in Salmiya on October 19 and 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with participation from individuals and institutions dedicated to supporting, empowering, and advocating for persons with disabilities.

According to a statement from the company, the exhibition follows the success of the first edition held last year, reflecting the company’s commitment to continuing the development of its community initiatives and creating supportive spaces for talents while promoting equal opportunities. This reinforces the concept of inclusivity in society and ensures that everyone has the chance to participate and create.

The exhibition also highlights the role of art in expressing capabilities and aspirations, showcasing the talents and creative potential of persons with disabilities.

The partnerships involved demonstrate the commitment of participating entities to supporting the artistic talents of persons with disabilities, enabling them to showcase their creativity, and enhancing cooperation in purposeful community initiatives.

To strengthen community participation, a number of volunteers from the Integrated Care Foundation for Persons with Disabilities are involved in the organization, reflecting the importance of collaboration and integration among various entities and individuals in supporting community initiatives and enabling persons with disabilities to participate effectively.

The statement noted that the initiative aligns with Al-Tijariya’s efforts to consolidate social sustainability and enhance corporate social responsibility practices, in accordance with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, particularly the social pillar, which focuses on inclusion, equal opportunities, and empowering different segments of society. The initiative also reflects the company’s direction toward supporting initiatives with positive and sustainable impact, contributing to building a more inclusive and cohesive society.
