Social Affairs Discusses Updates on 'Sabah Al-Ahmad Resort for Elderly Care' with Partnership Authority

The Ministry of Social Affairs held discussions with the Public-Private Partnership Projects Authority regarding the latest developments in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Elderly Care Resort project in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City, as well as the necessary measures to complete its implementation phases.

Issa added that the project aims to develop the social care system, strengthen public-private partnerships, and enhance the quality of services provided to the elderly, thereby contributing to improving their quality of life and providing a comprehensive environment that meets their needs. He noted that the preliminary meeting featured a visual presentation outlining the project’s components and requirements, alongside discussions on the necessary steps to advance its phases in coordination with relevant authorities. He clarified that efforts are underway to receive and respond to inquiries from project applicants by October 15, 2026, at the latest, paving the way for communication with the Central Tenders Board and completion of official procedures.
