Kuwait and Iraq: Necessity to End Regional Escalation

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received a telephone call on Monday afternoon from his brother, the President of the Republic of Iraq, Nizar al-Amidi. The call reviewed the solid bilateral relations between the two countries and their fraternal peoples, as well as ways to support and develop these ties across various fields.

The conversation addressed issues of mutual interest and the latest developments on the regional and international scenes, particularly regarding the current situation in the region. The two sides exchanged views on these matters and emphasized the necessity of ending escalation and returning to the path of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve all outstanding issues.

For his part, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, sent a congratulatory message to the King of Spain, conveying his sincere congratulations and wishing him continued health and well-being.
