Saudi Embassy Organizes Buses to Repatriate Its Citizens to Riyadh

In line with the Kingdom’s commitment to safeguarding Saudi citizens and facilitating their return home, and in implementation of the orders of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Embassy in Kuwait has provided buses to transport Saudi nationals whose return to the Kingdom was disrupted due to the cancellation of their flights.

On Monday morning, the embassy compound in the Daeiyah area saw a steady influx of Saudi citizens wishing to return to Riyadh. They began gathering at 11:00 a.m., preparing to board the buses and travel overland to the Kingdom.

To be eligible for this initiative, the embassy required proof of a cancelled flight booking, a measure aimed at assisting citizens who were unable to return to the Kingdom due to flight cancellations, by providing an alternative means of reaching Riyadh.

This initiative comes within the broader efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to care for its citizens abroad and provide them with necessary facilitations amid exceptional circumstances that have affected air travel, reflecting the Saudi leadership’s dedication to ensuring the safety of its citizens and enabling their return to their homeland.
