Al-Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Adbi Nasser Al-Adbi Al-Sabah emphasized the importance of integrated roles among all relevant authorities and the Municipal Council, as well as monitoring field observations and needs, and working on implementing appropriate solutions according to priorities, in line with the requirements of urban expansion and population density, enhancing traffic safety levels, and improving the quality of services provided to citizens and residents.
This came during the Governor’s reception of the Assistant Director General for Planning and Traffic Engineering, Brigadier General Haqqoo Meshal Al-Shahman; the Assistant Director of Al-Farwaniya Governorate Traffic, Major Feisal Meshal; the Director of Traffic Engineering, Major Ali Burrubai; the Head of Road Permits Section, Engineer Mansour Al-Shammari; and several traffic leaders, in the presence of Al-Farwaniya Municipal Council members, Brigadier General R.M. Ali Al-Shanfara, Saad Al-Hudba, and Hessa Al-Mutawa.
The meeting discussed several traffic files and issues in Al-Farwaniya Governorate, and reviewed ways to enhance coordination between the governorate and relevant authorities, thereby supporting the development of traffic infrastructure, improving the efficiency of roads and intersections, and contributing to resolving traffic congestion and enhancing traffic flow in various areas of the governorate.
The meeting comes within the framework of the Governor’s commitment to continuing coordination and cooperation with relevant government authorities, following up on service and development files, and supporting efforts aimed at developing the traffic system and elevating the level of services.
