Kuwait Projects Company (Kuwait Holding Company) “KEPCO” launched the fourth edition of the “Inbat” program to prepare youth for the labor market, with the participation of 30 recent university graduates, aiming to equip them with practical skills that enhance their readiness to enter the professional world.
The American University in Kuwait is hosting the program, which has seen strong interest, with 350 young men and women applying to join.
On this occasion, Eman Al-Awadhi, First Vice President for Communications and Investor Relations at the group, said: “Inbat embodies KEPCO’s commitment to investing in youth and empowering them to acquire the skills and confidence needed to launch their careers. The fourth edition of the program underscores the importance of initiatives that help bridge the gap between academic education and labor market requirements. As work environments continue to evolve and their demands change, we are committed to updating the program’s content to keep pace with these developments.”
Al-Awadhi added, “We have added a new focus on the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in the workplace, alongside practical workshops designed to prepare participants to leverage available opportunities and address future challenges.”
Inbat was designed in collaboration with the non-profit organization en.v, which specializes in designing programs that foster collaboration and communication among various segments of society. The program spans nine weeks, with one training session held each week.
The sessions are delivered by seven trainers prepared by en.v, who possess practical experience in the private sector, including operations management, academic research, digital marketing, architecture, investment, data science, and consulting on development projects.
