Al-Ghurair: Targeting Saudi Arabia Undermines Security of UAE and All Gulf States

Anwar Gargash wrote on his X account, “Since the start of the aggression against the Gulf Arab states, driven by the attacker’s mistaken assessment that they represent the weakest link in a war we sought to avoid, it has become clear that we are all targeted and that our security is indivisible. The attack on our brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia undermines the security of the United Arab Emirates and all Gulf states.”

He added, “There is an urgent need to revive joint Gulf cooperation, particularly in its security and defense dimensions, and to strengthen the collective security framework. This is the dimension that witnessed a grave neglect, which encouraged others to encroach upon us. Gulf security is a shared responsibility that allows no complacency or delay.”
