The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement on Sunday that the operations carried out by the Drug Control Department are part of ongoing security efforts to combat drug trafficking and apprehend those involved.
It clarified that the operations resulted in the seizure of one kilogram of marijuana, 360 grams of methamphetamine, 170 grams of hashish, and 150 grams of cocaine.
The ministry added that the seized items also included liters of chemical liquid, a quantity of A4 paper sheets soaked in it, four sensitive scales, and a number of empty bags prepared for packaging, along with a sum of money derived from trafficking proceeds.
