"Public Works": Tender for Construction and Maintenance of Roads and Services in "Kabd"

According to the Ministry’s plan, the project aims to directly benefit the areas of the South Saad Al-Abdullah City project, the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak City project, and the Shaddadiyah Industrial City project. This will be achieved by ensuring smooth traffic flow, facilitating mobility for residents of areas adjacent to the project, and increasing the capacity of surrounding bridges and roads to accommodate vehicles and traffic density.
Among the project’s objectives is the creation of new stormwater drainage services, which will reduce asphalt deterioration caused by water accumulation on roads, as well as prevent future flash floods.
Regarding the scope of work for this project, it includes completing the route of Circular Road 6.5 from the Kubad Al-Sulaybiya Road to the Salima Road, and connecting the area to surrounding main roads (the Sixth Ring Road, the Seventh Ring Road, and the Salima Road) to facilitate traffic flow to and from these routes. This is particularly important given ongoing developments in new residential areas with high population density, such as South Saad Al-Abdullah City and West Abdullah Al-Mubarak City.
The scope of work also includes developing existing and proposed roads to connect industrial areas and cities, as well as upgrading existing infrastructure and services for farms, wastewater treatment plants, oil well areas, water well areas, and industrial zones. Additionally, it involves designing safe alternative routes for existing roads that are unfit and pose serious risks to their users, and finally, developing the Kubad artisans’ industrial area.
