Zelensky: I was not previously aware of Trump's announcement of an 'energy truce'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Sunday to Axios that he was unaware of the energy truce with Russia announced earlier by his American counterpart, Donald Trump, but expressed his readiness to accept it if Moscow took a similar step.

According to Axios journalist Barak Ravid, who posted the remarks on the X platform, Zelenskyy said, “This announcement of a truce was new news for me. But if the Russians agree to an energy truce, Ukraine will also agree to it.”
