Al-Badawi: Repeated Houthi Terrorist Attacks on King Khalid Airport Show Deepening Criminality

Jassim Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), strongly condemned and denounced the treacherous terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. He emphasized that the repeated targeting of this civilian facility reflects a criminal approach aimed at terrorizing innocent people and endangering the lives of travelers and staff, in blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
He stressed that these attacks and the transformation of civilian airports into targets constitute a highly dangerous escalation that threatens the safety of civil aviation, necessitating a firm international response to deter such Houthi practices.
Al-Budaiwi reaffirmed that the GCC states stand united in support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, fully backing all measures it takes to protect its security and sovereignty, and to safeguard the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory. He underscored that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the GCC states, and any threat to it affects the entire Gulf system.
