Nomination of Students and Teachers for National Opera Participation

The Ministry of Education has begun identifying and nominating vocal talents to participate in the national holiday musical opera for the State of Kuwait in 2027. The selection includes Kuwaiti students and teachers who possess suitable vocal ability and performance skills.

Deputy Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, Hamad Al-Hamad, emphasized in a circular addressed to all schools across the three educational stages for boys and girls the Ministry’s commitment to discovering and supporting student and educational talents, and providing opportunities for promising vocal talents to take part in this distinguished national occasion.

Al-Hamad announced that the process of identifying and nominating Kuwaiti male and female teachers and students has commenced, paving the way for selecting suitable candidates to participate in the musical opera marking next year’s national holidays. He explained that this initiative is part of the preparations for the annual national musical opera held in celebration of Kuwait’s cherished national occasion, expressing feelings of loyalty and belonging to the homeland. The event is held in honor of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and features a select group of students and teachers from the Ministry of Education.

Al-Hamad set the audition committee’s hearing for today, Sunday, at Shehan Al-Farsi Boys’ Primary School, under the jurisdiction of the Hawalli Educational Area. He urged schools to identify and nominate candidates who meet the criteria and possess appropriate vocal abilities for participation in national artistic works. He also called for facilitating the attendance of nominated candidates at the specified time and venue, coordinating with parents of students, and considering teachers’ attendance at the audition committee as part of their official duties, while taking necessary measures to exempt them from attendance and departure biometric records.
