Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned today the repeated terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the targeting of King Khalid and Abha international airports, which resulted in injuries and loss of life among civilians.
In a statement, Sharif praised “the vigilance and professionalism demonstrated by the Saudi Armed Forces and coalition forces in intercepting several ballistic missiles, as well as their relentless efforts to protect innocent lives and safeguard the security of the Kingdom.”
He affirmed that “Pakistan’s commitment to the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security of the Kingdom is firm and unwavering, in line with the Mecca Declaration for Joint Defense,” while reiterating “full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s legitimate right to defend its people, protect its cities, and preserve its critical infrastructure.”
He stressed that “the Houthi militia must immediately cease these attacks,” adding that “Pakistan will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting these threats.”
