The eighth edition of the Marrakech International Airshow (Marrakech Airshow 2026), held at the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces Air Base, witnessed broad participation from heads of aviation authorities, experts, and officials in the aviation, space, and defense sectors from various countries around the world, including Kuwait, which was represented by the Chairman of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation, Sheikh Engineer Hamoud Mubarak Al-Sabah.
Sheikh Hamoud Al-Sabah told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Wednesday, following his participation in the opening ceremony, that Kuwait’s presence at these events reflects the country’s commitment to engaging in specialized international forums on civil aviation, thereby enhancing its presence and interaction with developments in this vital sector and opening avenues for exchanging expertise with sisterly and friendly nations.
He added that Kuwait’s participation in the airshow stems from the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination with its brothers in the Kingdom of Morocco, keeping abreast of the latest developments and innovations in civil aviation and modern technologies, as well as benefiting from international expertise and exchanging knowledge and experiences to support and develop the air transport sector.
He praised the excellent organization and preparation of the event, commending the efforts made by the Kingdom of Morocco and the organizing bodies to present this international event in a manner befitting the Kingdom’s stature and reflecting the progress witnessed by the aviation sector and its related industries.
