A spokesperson for the Saudi Civil Defense stated that the agency in Riyadh responded to the aftermath of ballistic missile fragments after “intercepting and destroying a missile launched by the terrorist Houthi militia, which resulted in material damage to a kindergarten and a medical clinic complex, and that standard procedures for such incidents were implemented.”

In a statement, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson for the coalition, noted that “the terrorist Houthi militia’s attacks on civilian targets in the Kingdom, most recently the targeting of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Abha International Airport, will not go unpunished.”

He added that Yemeni legitimate forces, with coalition support, “carried out a comprehensive operation that destroyed approximately 82 military targets belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia in the provinces of Saada, Hodeidah, Al-Jawf, and Marib.”

While warplanes destroyed a missile launch platform atop Mount Hilan in Marib, legitimate forces launched airstrikes on Houthi concentrations and trenches in Al-Khasf and Al-Aqsha, west of Al-Hazm in Al-Jawf.

The coalition also announced the destruction of a ballistic missile launch platform used in the attack on Riyadh, confirming that the operation took place in Sanaa during preparations for an imminent attack on Saudi Arabia.

In a notice to travelers, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh urged individuals to contact their airlines directly and verify flight statuses before heading to the airport.

As “Yemen’s Dawn” entered its fourth day, legitimate forces achieved field advances that enabled them to consolidate their gains on the western coast, bolstering their prospects for advancing toward Hodeidah and Sanaa.

Military spokesperson for the Yemeni legitimate forces, Brigadier General Majid Al-Nazili, announced the execution of 2,101 targeting operations against the Houthis across various axes and fronts, adding that these “resulted in neutralizing 1,860 militia members and destroying hundreds of equipment, supplies, and military sites.”

This comes alongside mounting military pressure on multiple fronts, as the Houthi militia has suffered losses due to airstrikes and direct ground confrontations, while explosions were heard around Hodeidah Airport.

Legitimate forces announced full control over the strategic Khabboub mountain front overlooking the Bab al-Mandab Strait, marking the latest field advance under “Yemen’s Dawn,” which aims to reclaim areas under Houthi control.

In a statement, “National Shield” forces said their troops, in cooperation with the Giants Brigades and joint forces, have established full control over the front, a development that strengthens the position of government forces in the highlands overlooking Bab al-Mandab and enhances their ability to secure this strategic axis within the ongoing operations on the western coast.

Administratively, Khabboub is located in Lahj Governorate in southern Yemen and comprises a chain of strategic mountain highlands overlooking the Bab al-Mandab area, giving it military significance for monitoring movements on routes leading to the strait and the western coast.

This coincided with continued government forces’ penetration into Al-Wazie’a district to the north, where fighting resulted in control over vital highlands and the cutting of Houthi supply lines toward western coast fronts, while government forces documented field advances on multiple axes within the district.

In Dhubab district, Southern Giants forces continued to consolidate their positions and control large areas, while repelling a Houthi attack on their positions in the airport sector and seizing military vehicles used by the militia in the attack, according to military sources.

Through these maneuvers, government forces are seeking to secure liberated areas in the western coastal region and isolate remaining Houthi militant elements around the Bab al-Mandab strait, ahead of an advance toward Al-Mukha, while simultaneously pressuring the group’s supply lines and preventing it from regrouping in areas near the strait.

The new advance comes days after government forces announced the recapture of positions in the Bab al-Mandab area and the Dhubab district, as part of an offensive launched on Monday with air support from the Saudi-led coalition.
