Al-Muwasharji in Bahrain... Gulf Cooperation to Develop Governmental Work

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Shuraidha Al-Muwasharji participated in the 22nd meeting of the Committee of Ministers and Heads of Civil Service Agencies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Civil Service Bureau stated in a statement issued on Thursday that the meeting was attended by the ministers and heads of civil service agencies of the GCC member states, during which several topics and issues related to the development of government work and civil service, as well as enhancing the trajectory of Gulf cooperation and integration in administrative and developmental fields, were discussed.

Under the patronage and in the presence of Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and with the participation of Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Shuraidha Al-Muwasharji, pioneering projects and figures in the fields of civil service, labor, development, and social affairs across the GCC countries were honored.

Meanwhile, Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received at Qasr Al-Qubaisat the heads of delegations participating in the 22nd meeting of the Committee of Ministers and Heads of Civil Service Agencies, the 12th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of Labor, and the 12th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of Social Affairs and Development of the GCC countries.

The Crown Prince emphasized the importance of these meetings in strengthening pathways of Gulf cooperation and integration, and in formulating additional joint initiatives and programs that bring benefits and prosperity to the GCC countries and their citizens. He noted that Bahrain remains committed to supporting various efforts and initiatives aimed at consolidating partnership and enhancing cooperation among GCC member states, and expanding areas of joint work to the benefit of the GCC countries and in fulfillment of the aspirations of their people.
