The Director General of the Public Authority for Industry, Shamlan Hamoud Al-Jahdali, commended the participation of the State of Kuwait, represented by the Public Authority for Industry, in the “Made in the Gulf” Forum and Exhibition held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from October 6 to 8, 2026, with 14 Kuwaiti factories participating in the exhibition accompanying the forum.

Al-Jahdali emphasized the importance of the participation of national factories and the products displayed, and listened to an explanation regarding the manufacturing capabilities and potential of Kuwaiti factories. He stressed the significance of such participation in highlighting the quality and competitiveness of the national product, enhancing its presence in Gulf markets, and opening new avenues for cooperation and partnerships between the industrial sectors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

The forum witnessed the honoring of three Kuwaiti factories among the distinguished Gulf factories: Equate Petrochemical Company, Kuwait Insulating Materials Company (KIMCO), and Kuwait Foods Company (Americana). Jasem Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the Bahraini Minister of Industry and Commerce honored representatives of the Kuwaiti factories in recognition of their contributions and role in supporting and developing the industrial sector.

Kuwait’s participation in the “Made in the Gulf” Forum and Exhibition comes in line with the Public Authority for Industry’s commitment to supporting the national product, showcasing Kuwaiti industrial capabilities, and enhancing the presence of Kuwaiti factories at Gulf events and platforms. This supports industrial integration among GCC countries and opens broader horizons for national products to access Gulf markets, thereby strengthening their competitiveness.
