The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed today, Thursday, Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the brazen attacks by the Houthi militia against Abha and King Khalid International Airports in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in several deaths and dozens of civilian injuries, in a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.
In a statement, the Ministry emphasized Kuwait’s unequivocal rejection of the recurrence of these cowardly attacks targeting innocent civilians and civilian and economic infrastructure, reiterating the urgent need to halt them immediately.
It stated that, while renewing Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures undertaken to safeguard the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security, and the protection of its citizens and residents on its territory, it stressed that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the victims’ families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
