Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and Investment Promotion Authority showcase investment opportunities in Kuwait

KUNA – The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and the Direct Investment Promotion Authority (DIPA) organized the International Business Partners Forum, under the theme “Direct Procurement and Sustainable Supply for the Kuwaiti Oil Sector,” at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre, with participation from a number of local and international companies and business entities related to the oil sector.

In a statement, the corporation said that organizing the forum is part of its efforts to enhance direct and transparent communication with business partners and investors, to introduce regulatory requirements and registration, qualification, and engagement procedures with KPC and its subsidiaries, and to showcase available investment opportunities in Kuwait and the oil sector.

It emphasized that the forum reflects its commitment to enhancing transparency and streamlining direct contracting procedures in light of recent amendments to the law establishing KPC, which aim to broaden the competitive base and provide opportunities for all qualified suppliers from around the world to participate on a fair and transparent basis, thereby ensuring that the oil sector obtains the best materials, products, and services in accordance with the highest international standards.

It added that KPC operates within a supportive legislative and regulatory environment for investment and welcomes the participation of the private sector and foreign investors whose capabilities and expertise align with the needs of the oil sector.

It noted that DIPA provides support throughout all stages of the investment journey, including post-investment services, which enhance the sustainability and growth of projects and their contribution to the development of the national economy.
