The Reconnaissance Center for Research and Studies hosted Jonathan Panikoff, Senior Director of the Scowcroft Middle East Security Initiative at the Atlantic Council, during a three-day visit to Kuwait, as part of the Center’s ongoing engagement with leading international institutions and experts in policy and strategic affairs.

During the visit, the Center organized a series of closed-door discussions bringing together Panikoff with Kuwaiti participants from diplomatic, economic, and academic backgrounds, alongside his private meetings with several government officials.

Commenting on his visit, Panikoff said, “Kuwait is an important ally of the United States. This visit allowed me to listen to a broad spectrum of Kuwaiti perspectives, which will directly enrich our Center’s research and help explore additional areas of cooperation, including with the Reconnaissance Center.”

The visit extends a continuing relationship between the Reconnaissance Center and Panikoff, which has included previous meetings between Al-Anjari and Panikoff at the Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C.

For his part, Abdulaziz Al-Anjari, founder and chairman of the Center, welcomed Panikoff’s visit, emphasizing that the Center continues to build bridges with leading global experts and public policy institutions.

Al-Anjari stated, “The Reconnaissance Center was established as an independent platform for serious dialogue, and visits of this nature enable a direct and dynamic exchange of perspectives.”
