Riyadh Season... Lerner Tian Joins Six Kings Slam Stars in Place of Jannik Sinner

American tennis player Lerner Tian joins the list of stars participating in the Six Kings Slam, held as part of the Riyadh Season, replacing Italy’s Jannik Sinner, who was ruled out due to an injury.
Tian, 20, is one of the most prominent rising American players in the tennis world, having made significant progress in the global rankings in recent months. He reached a career-high ranking of world No. 12 and achieved several notable results against top-ranked players.
Tian’s name gained considerable attention at the 2025 Australian Open, where he defeated Russia’s Daniil Medvedev in a five-set match. He continued his upward trajectory with victories over several leading tour players, including Germany’s Alexander Zverev. He also faced Sinner in the 2025 Beijing final and further developed his game by reaching the quarterfinals of the 2026 Australian Open.
Tian will compete in the third edition of the Six Kings Slam, taking place at The Venue in Riyadh on October 21, 22, and 24. The tournament brings together some of the world’s top tennis stars in a knockout format.
The event is part of the global sports activities hosted by the seventh edition of Riyadh Season, continuing the integration of tennis into the season’s calendar and attracting the sport’s leading stars to the capital city.
