Ministers' Court adjourns 'Secret Expenses' case involving Ahmed Al-Fahed to November 11 for pleadings

Today’s session saw the attendance of Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahd and three witnesses against him, as the court heard their testimonies in the case. Meanwhile, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahd’s defense lawyer, Faiyz Al-Zafiri, requested a postponement to review the record of the witnesses’ interrogations.
Previously, during his trial before the Ministers’ Court, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahd had submitted a check for the amount he was accused of embezzling, requesting that it be handed over to the Execution Department.
The Standing Investigation Committee for the Trial of Ministers had referred former Defense Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahd to the Ministers’ Court, following a complaint regarding secret expenditures filed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif.
