Kuwait Strongly Condemns and Denounces Continued Blatant Houthi Militia Attacks on Mecca and Medina

The Palestinian Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs stated that Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque witnessed an escalation in violations by the occupation forces and settlers during the past month of September.
In a report according to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa), the ministry clarified that “occupation forces and settlers carried out 26 incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque during the last month, while occupation authorities prevented the call to prayer (Adhan) from being raised at the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron 150 times, in addition to completely closing it for six days under the pretext of Jewish holidays.”
The ministry noted that “Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed increasing demands from extremist ‘Temple organizations’ to open it for settler incursions on Saturdays, in order to impose a new reality and entrench temporal and spatial segregation.” It pointed out that “settlers organized prayers and collective rituals in the Bab al-Rahma Cemetery adjacent to the eastern wall, which included blowing the shofar over Muslim graves under heavy guard.”
It confirmed that “Talmudic practices inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa escalated, such as performing epic prostrations, public prayers, and supplications for occupation soldiers in front of the Dome of the Rock, while occupation forces continued to impose strict measures, incursions around the Al-Maghariba Prayer Hall and the Dome of the Rock, coinciding with Friday sermons and prayers to restrict worshippers.”
The occupation has continued to close the eastern gate of the Ibrahimi Mosque and cover its windows with barriers since the beginning of 2025, coinciding with repeated incursions by Israeli ministers into the shrine.
The attacks extended to other mosques, as settlers set fire to the Imad al-Din al-Zanki Mosque in Nablus, wrote racist slogans on its walls, and stormed the new Madama Mosque, throwing tear gas canisters at worshippers, resulting in suffocation injuries. Additionally, the Duwaysat prayer hall in the Jiftlik area of Jericho Governorate was demolished.
