Today, Monday, the National Shield Forces, the Giants Brigades, and the Thahami Resistance, backed by popular resistance, seized control of the city of Al-Mukha in western Ta’iz Governorate following fierce battles with Houthi militias.

According to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), “with air support, they managed to take control of Al-Mukha after clashes with the terrorist Houthi militias, which had controlled the city since early September last year.”

The source noted that fighting erupted in several locations surrounding Al-Mukha, involving various types of weapons, resulting in casualties among the terrorist Houthi militias, with some of their members captured and others fleeing.

The source further emphasized that the forces are continuing to pursue Houthi elements, conducting clearance operations in liberated areas, neighborhoods, and facilities to secure them against any remaining Houthi pockets.
