- Emphasized on World Teachers’ Day that his human role cannot be replaced by any technology in a world where knowledge accelerates and artificial intelligence technologies evolve.

The Minister of Education, Sayyid Jalal Al-Tabatabai, said today that the teacher’s role extends beyond transmitting knowledge to building character, shaping awareness, instilling values, awakening ambition, and honing future leaders.

Al-Tabatabai added that on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, in a world where knowledge accelerates and artificial intelligence technologies advance, the teacher’s human role remains irreplaceable by any technology. It is the teacher who believes in students’ capabilities, guides their thinking, strengthens their self-confidence, and instills in them a sense of belonging and responsibility.

He congratulated teachers on this occasion, saying, “I extend to you all expressions of appreciation and pride, and I honor in you a noble mission that has had and will continue to have the greatest impact on building character and advancing nations.”

He stated that this day “is not merely an occasion to celebrate teachers, but a moment of gratitude and appreciation for those who have made their knowledge and dedication a mission, who view every student as a trust, and who see every success achieved by their students as an extension of their impact and mission.”

He added that a teacher’s impact is not measured solely by what they provide within the classroom, but by what remains of them in their students’ lives years later and in every achievement those students accomplish for their country. “From this conviction, we place teacher empowerment and development at the core of the education development journey, and we view teachers as genuine partners in driving change and building Kuwait’s future.”

He continued, “On this cherished occasion, I call on Kuwaiti male and female teachers to continue their dedication with determination and sincerity, and to keep their love for Kuwait and sense of belonging to it as motivation for further giving and achievement, inspired by the wisdom of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah (may God protect him), His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah (may God protect him), and His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister (may God protect him), under the political leadership’s continued support and attention to education and human development.”

The Minister of Education expressed his gratitude “to every teacher and female teacher” for their dedication, saying, “Thank you for every positive influence you sow in our children’s hearts, for every mind you enlighten, for every ambition you awaken, and for every generation you help prepare to carry the trust of this nation.”

He added that “Kuwait deserves the best from all of us, and your mission will remain a pillar of its progress, your impact present in its generations, and your dedication extending into its future. May God protect Kuwait, its leadership, and its people, and may He enable us all to serve and elevate it. May Kuwaiti teachers, male and female, continue to be a source of pride and honor every year.”
