The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and outrage over the ongoing violations committed by the Israeli occupation in the territories of the sister Arab Republic of Syria, most recently the completion of work on what is referred to as “Sufa Line 53,” in a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Arab Republic of Syria and a flagrant breach of international law.
In a statement issued today, Sunday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the continued incursions by the Israeli occupation into Syrian territory constitute an escalation that threatens to undermine peace and stability in the region.
It reiterated its call on the international community to take urgent action to compel the Israeli occupation to comply with resolutions of international legitimacy, particularly the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, and to halt its repeated aggressions against Syrian territory, thereby preventing further escalation and tension in the region.
