KUNA’s Media Capacity Development Center launched the training program “Managing News Accounts on Social Media,” with participation from representatives of the Kuwait News Agency, the Direct Investment Promotion Authority, the National Fund for Supporting and Developing Small and Medium Enterprises, and the Financial Supervision Authority.
The program, which runs until October 8 and is delivered by Ahmed Al-Sheikh, Deputy Chairman of the Digital Media Council at the British Journalists’ Union, aims to teach participants how to analyze social media audiences, identify key players in the digital news landscape, and conduct competitor analysis on digital platforms.
The program, which combines theoretical and practical approaches, also covers developing visual and editorial identities on social media, planning content production for news accounts, and handling crises and breaking news.
